Rim Vent

The CNC 104 Series Rim Vent by Motherwell provides effective low-pressure relief for floating roof storage tanks. Constructed from aluminium with a stainless steel mesh, it features a standard 6” flange or threaded connection. Set to open at 0.865” w.g., this vent releases excess air or gas when tank pressure exceeds the limit. Designed for durability, it includes a protective weatherhood and is ideal for floating roof applications, offering reliable, cost-effective pressure management.

The floating roof rim Vent has a cast body which can be flanged or threaded for connection to the storage tank, the weatherhood protects the exhaust port of the rim vent from atmospheric conditions. The rim vents are fitted with a hinged pallet lift set to lift when the set pressure in the tank exceeds the set-pressure allowing the air/gas to flow.
